A committee member said KEDCO should be asked to provide a recommendation on appropriate, defensible boundaries and that the committee should collaborate with county staff (including Steve) to identify where investment would be most effective.
The group emphasized being intentional about boundaries to avoid opening the county to unrelated requests for EDA money and advised keeping the areas contiguous and focused near major thoroughfares. Staff will prepare bullet points for the redevelopment commission and follow up with KEDCO and county staff.
