The George Junior Republic Union Free School District Board of Education elected Patrick Perry as board president and William Black as vice president during its reorganization meeting. Committee member (speaker 2) nominated Patrick Perry; the nomination was approved by voice vote.
"I'd like to nominate Patrick Perry as president of the board," said Committee member (speaker 2). After the vote, the oath of office was read aloud: "I do solemnly swear affirm that I will support the constitution of United States and the constitution of the state of New York, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the president of the board of education according to the best of my ability," which completed the seating of the president. The board also moved to seat the vice president following a separate vote.
