Trustee J.W. Coleman urged removal of an inspection requirement if the Village proceeds with a proposed pool ordinance; President Richard Samples confirmed the inspection section has been pulled. The board agreed to review the revised draft at the Aug. 22 Committee of the Whole meeting and asked Attorney Roland Cross to prepare a final ordinance for the September board meeting.
Code Enforcement Officer Cindy Beddingfield had submitted the proposed pool ordinance and supporting information. The minutes record procedural agreement to refine the ordinance language rather than a final vote on requirements or enforcement.
