South Jacksonville board adopts tax-appropriation ordinance and FY 2024–25 budget

At its Sept. 19 special meeting the South Jacksonville Village Board approved an ordinance titled 'Ordinance Appropriating Taxes for all Corporate Purposes for the Village of South Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois' for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2024 and ending April 30, 2025. President Richard Samples asked for a motion; Trustee Paula Belobrajdic-Stewart moved approval, Trustee Tom Luber seconded, and trustees approved the ordinance by roll call.
In the same session the board adopted the fiscal-year budget for May 1, 2024–April 30, 2025 by a motion from Trustee Stewart and second from Trustee Luber, again approved by roll call. Both actions were recorded as approved by the trustees present.
