Skokie SD 68 names liaisons to NTDSE and IASB delegates, continues policy committee leadership

The board described the Niles Township District of Special Education (NTDSE) liaison role as monthly meetings to coordinate special-education support across the township; Jill Shear volunteered to serve as the primary representative and Jeremy offered to be the alternate.
"It would be the liaison between our board and their board, making sure we're informed of what they are doing to support students with special needs across the township," a trustee said while describing the NTDSE role. The board also discussed representation with the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) and North Cook County division meetings and asked interested trustees to consider serving as delegates to statewide meetings and conferences. Katrina was named to continue leading the policy committee and additional volunteers were requested.
