Resident urges city action after storage container blocks Morning Glory Lane

Mary Ellen Cole, speaking for the Windsong HOA, told the council that a pod container parked on Morning Glory Lane is blocking sight lines and creating a safety hazard for children, school buses and elderly drivers. She said the engineering department issued a temporary right-of-way use permit on 05/18/2026 for 120 days and that the pod has remained in place for months; she asked the council to remove it before an accident occurs.
The mayor said he would consult with the city engineer and asked staff to review the permit and reported pictures; he promised the HOA would receive an update by noon the following day. Council staff accepted Cole’s photos and said they would follow up with the engineering office to assess enforcement or permit modification options.
