A SoHo Playhouse representative outlined a plan to launch a new children's programming strand with a street-event reintroduction for families. The organizer described short hourly performances (10–15 minutes), puppet shows, a circus show and a slate of classes the theater will run during the season.
Committee staff asked about amplified sound and stage size; the presenter said performers are trained theater professionals and that the plan is to keep the experience "organic and theater akin to what it'll be like in the theater rather than making a spectacle." Committee members asked organizers to confirm load-in, maintain a 15-foot fire lane and notify neighbors and local nonprofits.
