The Reinbeck City Council on June 1 approved the FY2027 Grundy County Sheriff's Office law-enforcement agreement at a cost of $176,942 per year.
Council also accepted the resignation of Utility Billing Clerk Tara Klein and approved hiring Sherri Bissonnette as the new part-time Utility Billing Clerk; the minutes note the position was posted for two weeks prior to the hire. Separately, the council voted to deny a peddler's permit application from Abram Dow representing Fox Pest Control.
These personnel and contract decisions were recorded as motions with unanimous support among attending councilmembers.
