Reinbeck council approves reserve fund levy, terminates development agreement, transfers funds and sets employee pay

The Reinbeck City Council approved several resolutions on June 1 addressing capital funding, development, personnel and grants.
Council voted to adopt Resolution #2026-17R establishing a Capital Improvements Reserve Fund and imposing an additional property tax levy. The body also approved Resolution #2026-18R to terminate a development agreement with Snow Angel Park LLC, and Resolution #2026-19R to transfer funds to pay upcoming obligations. On personnel funding, the council adopted Resolution #2026-20R setting compensation for city employees for fiscal year 2026–2027. The council also authorized Resolution #2026-21R to submit a grant application to, and accept funds from, the Black Hawk Gaming Association.
All votes on these resolutions were recorded as aye (Wambold, Pease, Johnson, Trepp and Bueghly) on roll calls noted in the minutes.
