Vernon County health staff report year-end spending, ARPA funds used for new incubator

Staff member (Speaker 1) told the board the health office recorded December expenditures totaling $9,845.15 and that the largest purchase was a new incubator paid with ARPA funds.
"The largest majority of that was for our new incubator... That expense was $5,598 and $0.33. We used ARPA funding to support that," the staff member said. She added the office closed the fiscal year at approximately 84% of projected expenditures, a figure she said will help planning next budget year.
The item was discussed during the monthly funds review and received no additional motions beyond routine approval of the minutes earlier in the meeting. Chair (Speaker 4) then moved the meeting on to the health budget discussion.
