Chairman Rob Heaney told trustees the Public Works Committee had reviewed and amended the snow policy and discussed management of the first major snowstorm this winter. Heaney moved to approve the committee's Dec. 11, 2025 minutes and Trustee Mike Gajewski seconded; the committee's roll-call vote was recorded as ayes Gajewski, Heaney and McMahon, and the motion carried.
"Chairman Heaney reported the snow policy was reviewed and amended and management of the first big snowstorm of the season was discussed," the minutes state. The committee's recorded action was approval of the Dec. 11 minutes; the board's minutes do not include the full revised snow-policy text or operational details such as plow priorities, staffing changes, or equipment expenditures.
The minutes show the committee discussed operational responses to winter weather but do not record follow-up tasks or timing for implementing any amendments to the snow policy. Staff (Public Works Supervisor Mike Frer) was present at the meeting according to attendance notes and may be assigned implementation steps in committee records.
