Anaconda-Deer Lodge County commissioners on May 5 approved a $56,000 task order from the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services intended "for strengthening our work force," Public Health Director Lauren Bolton said.
"This is our annual task order renewal for $56,000.00 for DPHHS for strengthening our work force," Bolton said. The commission voted 5-0 to accept the funds and authorize the task order.
The task order is described by Bolton as an annual renewal to support county public-health staffing. No additional allocations or implementation timelines were detailed at the meeting; commissioners approved the action as presented and the county will proceed under the contract terms with DPHHS.
