City staff explained that WRH Inc. submitted a $133,215.07 change order to reconcile an earlier line item; staff said the previously mentioned $201,787.77 change order had not involved any exchanged funds and the corrected amount reduces the total project cost to approximately $4,190,000. "The change order that we recently approved on the 24th was for $201,787.77... Instead, it was this change order for $133,215.00," a staff member said.
Council approved the WRH change order and then approved a consent pay request package totaling $932,777.27 covering nine items, including WRH Inc. and engineering invoices. Staff noted the WRH contractor's application for payment includes the corrected $133,215 change order, not the larger earlier figure.
