Angela Upchurch, a member of the Caswell County Tourism Development Authority board, presented the TDA's FY 2026 annual report and described modest increases in tourism metrics. Upchurch reported that "Tourism dollars for Caswell County increased slightly from 19,830,000 in fiscal year 25 ... to 20,060,000 in the available numbers for fiscal year 26," and said grant awards rose from $31,005 to $42,277.
Upchurch highlighted the Caswell Farm Tour, which tallied roughly 2,500 site visits last fall, and previewed plans to publish downloadable itineraries for the county and municipalities to encourage regional visitors. The TDA said these itineraries are expected to be implemented in the coming months, and commissioners thanked the board for the report; no board action was required.
