The Hampshire County Board of Education approved personnel actions on the consent agenda, including hiring Doctor McCroby as band director and appointing Miss Paris as principal at Ice Mountain Elementary. Superintendent Colette described both hires as the result of successful interviews and site visits and asked the board to approve the recommendations.
Colette also requested permission to post positions: a deaf and hard-of-hearing teacher (limited hours), a transition support specialist (around 18 hours per week), an itinerant classroom aide and a transportation aide (full-time, grant-funded), and she noted volunteers who had met West Virginia and county requirements. The board approved the personnel section by voice vote.
