Parks staff described a change-order package for the skate park that would use parkland dedication funds to add artificial turf, shade structures, benches and lighting as finish elements of the project. The presenter said the contractor's bid for the combined hardscape and landscape work and use of parkland funds made this the most cost-effective approach for the remaining scope. Council asked clarifying questions about seating and pavers and then moved to adopt the resolution authorizing the funds and vendor agreements.
