The Board approved Kati Roberts’ request to close East 5th from Broadway to Court on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a first annual Sidewalk Sale. The board confirmed that municipal parking access next to Garden Gate would remain available and that a waiver has been filed for the event.
Members noted a concurrent car show at the airport for that day and asked staff to coordinate with county authorities about Court Street closure. After a motion and second the item passed with unanimous affirmative votes.
