City staff previews 2025-26 goals, ties capital projects to eight priority areas

She said projects include sewer-main replacements on Bowie and Park streets, ongoing annual HVAC and sidewalk work, planned municipal building HVAC repairs (purchase order issued), and several water and airport design projects that are in various stages of planning or awaiting state review. "So this is just gonna be a preview," she said, asking councilors to consider additions or deletions at the next meeting.
The presentation emphasized that some projects span multiple budget years and that staff will provide monthly status updates. Summer pointed to recent improvements at the reservoirs (new dock, playground, benches) and said the rod-iron fencing and other amenities are now in place and well used. She asked council members to review the packet and bring any desired goal changes to the first June meeting for formal consideration.
