Hector Arzate named Outreach Committee chair; three members appointed
Summary
At the May 14 meeting the council appointed Hector Arzate as chair of the Outreach Committee and named José Félix Cabrera Larios, Michelle Rivera and Sonya Guerra as committee members. Several other committee appointments were postponed.
The board conducted appointments for outreach leadership. Two nominees were considered for Outreach Committee chair and the board voted to appoint Hector Arzate as chair. The motion to appoint carried during the roll call recorded in the minutes.
The board also appointed José Félix Cabrera Larios, Michelle Rivera and Sonya Guerra as Outreach Committee members after a motion from Mireya Valencia and a second from Michelle Rivera. Other committee chair and membership items were postponed for later consideration during a motion to defer remaining agenda items except for the RFAL.
