County staff shows how to check who owns roads and signals using SCDOT Street Finder and county GIS

Using the county’s GIS, Jared showed color codes used in the county map (black = DOT, red = county, green = private) and walked through specific examples — Depot Road, Bridgewater Road and Rambling Road — to show how ownership and pavement status appear in the system. He said the county will provide an Excel inventory to committee members and that staff will distribute the maps and the spreadsheet after the meeting.
