Roxbury selectmen approve year‑end transfers and set 2026 budget meeting

At the Dec. 16 meeting the Town of Roxbury Board of Selectmen approved several year‑end 2025 account transfers and set the 2026 budget meeting date. The board voted 2‑0 to transfer $17,742.52 from Misc to Summer Roads, $7,392.22 from Misc to Watershed Projects, $3,600 from Misc to Capital Improvements, and to allocate a remaining $9,483.64 of FEMA funds to Capital Improvements.
The board also noted foreclosure notices for 2023 and reminded that properties listed must be paid by Jan. 11 to avoid town ownership. The 2026 budget meeting was scheduled for Jan. 7, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.; the board recorded that this was the last warrant for 2025.
