Roxbury selectmen approve $154,725.29 warrant, multiple transfers and routine municipal actions

The Roxbury Board of Selectmen approved a warrant totaling $154,725.29 and several routine financial moves during its Nov. 25 meeting at the town office.
Matthew Patneaude moved to sign the warrant for $154,725.29; Ray Hodsdon seconded and the motion passed 3-0. The board also approved a package of account transfers that included a $1,500 transfer from the operating account to the fire reserve, $2,574.41 to the cemetery reserve, and multiple transfers between TIF and operating accounts for legal fees and other line items. Timothy Derouche moved to allow town staff (Renee) to execute the 2025 budget-year transfers dated 11/25/25; Matthew Patneaude seconded and the motion passed 3-0.
To avoid staff waiting four weeks for pay because of a December meeting adjustment, the board authorized two selectmen to review and sign payroll on Dec. 23 or 24 so employees receive pay on schedule; the motion was approved 3-0. The board also signed municipal paperwork authorizing the Slippery Sliders Snowmobile Club to apply for a state grant of $73,016; that motion passed 3-0.
No public comments were received at the meeting. The board adjourned at 8:05 p.m.
