Principals report reading initiatives, STAR growth and $17,000 Winterfest fundraising

Mastin said Winterfest Fundraising Week raised over $17,000 for the Hemminger family and thanked community volunteers.
Junior/Senior High Principal Megan McGann reported the Junior High and High School reading and math teams met STAR Growth targets for Fall-to-Winter data, noted ACT preparation and practice testing dates (practice ACT March 5; ACT/Pre-ACT April 2), and highlighted recent student achievements in speech and the arts.
