Superintendent highlights Peer Mentoring, instructional coaching, and strong student participation in holiday events

Superintendent Brett Elliott previewed the Peer Mentoring Program, which will begin workshops and weekly mentor–mentee sessions in January, and noted expansion of the Instructional Coaching Program with a planned presentation to the board in January. Elliott said the district continues to live the PHEARCE philosophy, adding "Protect This House!" as a central element of school culture. He also provided a budget update showing expenditures through 41.7% of the fiscal year and projected the district should end the year under budget.
