The Stark County Community Unit School District #100 Board of Education approved February bills totaling $700,104.10 after Vice President Bruce West questioned a check to CORE Construction for the district's new gym. Superintendent Brett Elliott told the board that Fund 60 has covered payments to date but "there is approximately $500,000 still due," which the board said it would discuss at a later date.
The motion to approve the February bills was made by Emily Leezer, seconded by Dane Richards, and passed on a 5-0 vote. The item was presented during the board's regular meeting at Stark County Elementary School on Feb. 24, 2025. Board members present who voted in favor were Emily Leezer, Erin Price, Dane Richards, Bruce West and Ann Orwig.
