He also said a school psychologist position will be posted in January and that the district is working to find an individual who can be on staff promptly.
Board members discussed retirements and role adjustments tied to athletic staffing. The superintendent said the football coach Mike DeMees plans to retire June 30 and the dean of students position will be eliminated; the district is considering a part‑time assistant athletic director stipend and possible transition support from the retiring coach.
