Pleasant Hill honors 25 years of Senior Van Service

Michael Johnson, introduced by the mayor as the program coordinator, accepted the recognition on behalf of drivers and dispatchers and described long staff tenures and volunteer support. "It's the greatest program ever. And I've been with it about 15 years," Johnson said, listing drivers and dispatchers by first name and thanking volunteers for enabling door‑to‑door rides that help seniors reach medical appointments and remain active in the community. The council asked staff to document the milestone for the city newsletter.
