Director Dart McLean introduced a proposed Housing Infrastructure Finance Program (HIFP) grant application that would pass funds through to Copeland Commons for stormwater improvements and include funding for a project manager to reduce staff burdens on implementation. Staff said the city would apply and, if awarded, pass the funds to Copeland Commons for stormwater work and project management support.
Councilor Joshua Conklin moved approval of the grant application and Councilor Adams seconded; with no public comment the motion carried by voice vote. Director McLean described the application as "a grant opportunity ... to support the efforts for the Copeland Commons," and staff offered to answer follow-up questions on request.
