Fire Chief Michael Long told trustees that the fire department responded to 179 calls in July, including 144 medical calls, 35 fire calls and 31 assists to surrounding communities.
Long said the department handled two structure fires since the last board meeting with quick response and no injuries, and he announced that Jessica Cardolino has completed certifications and is now a fully functional firefighter/EMT. The report was entered into the record; no board action was taken.
