Elliott explained that Fund 40 will show a $50,000 revenue increase tied to the Bus to Grid grant and corresponding expenditure adjustments, while Fund 10 is reduced by $18,000 to meet state administrative cap guidance. The board voted to place the tentative amended budget on display for 30 days and to hold a special board meeting and public hearing on June 19, 2025, to consider final adoption.
Board members were told the auditor suggested cleaning up other line items while amending for the unexpected grant funds. The amendment also increases Fund 40 outlays by $127,745 for vehicle and transportation-related costs and adjusts Fund 60 purchase services for excess interest.
