Board hears LCAP and CEI update; county offers change-theory support

Superintendent Kamaljit Pannu presented the district's LCAP and CEI updates, saying stakeholder feedback from staff, families, students and the community shaped a renewed focus on community engagement initiatives. The update emphasized efforts to bolster school spirit, build stronger relationships among stakeholders, and promote student-led initiatives in response to survey results presented earlier in the year.
Ms. Crivelli of the Merced County Office of Education described county work on change theory and partnership opportunities to support the district's CEI efforts. Trustees and staff framed this as an ongoing process: "meaningful change takes time," Trustee Roduner said while acknowledging committee work. The presentation was informational; no board action was taken at the meeting.
