PTO reports strong turnout, raises $1,600 for family at back-to-school bash

The speaker noted volunteers and a new PTO sweatshirt design and said the group plans to hold regular monthly meetings (proposed on the last Monday of the month).
The representative also thanked volunteers and said the PTO will circulate a newsletter and use merchandise sales to support future efforts. "We rackled baskets to benefit the Hayes family and in just over 2.5 hours raised over $1,600," the presenter reported.
