Arroyo ASB outlines campus events, cultural celebrations and 70th anniversary

Student leaders presented the board with a run-through of Arroyo High's student life and activities.
Nui Nguyen, ASB president, and ASB officers described a busy year that included a traditional blue-black-white assembly, cultural celebrations such as Lunar New Year with lion dances, a widely attended 70th anniversary celebration, and plans for open house and graduation. "As students returned to campus, they were filled with excitement as they reconnected with friends... It set a positive tone for the months ahead," ASB president Nui Nguyen said.
Student speakers said ASB-run events and Link Crew mentoring helped build a sense of belonging and raised participation at rallies and athletics. Activities officer Sally Moon outlined logistics and volunteer coordination for homecoming halftime shows and dances. Student government said they will continue to support school events and invited the board to Arroyo's open house the next day.
Board members thanked students for the presentation and commended the leadership work of ASB and student volunteers.
