Committee approves placing Firewise signs at Village Hall and new fire station; explores neighborhood signs

The committee agreed to pursue Firewise signage at Village Hall and the new fire station and to explore additional prominent locations such as Country Club Drive and entrances that would not require highway department approval. A member offered to hang signage on construction fencing temporarily at the new station and the group discussed ordering yard signs and larger entrance signs through Firewise USA resources.

Mike offered to move the signage recommendation forward and made a motion that members supported by voice vote. "I mean, I'll make that motion," he said, and members answered in the affirmative. The committee asked the village manager and maintenance staff to help determine feasible sign locations and to include sign placement in the next action plan.
