Mary Kay Entsminger, interim assistant superintendent of teaching and learning, told the board that Eureka Math is in its second year of implementation with consultant support and that Solution Tree coaches are working at each school to develop 30/60/90 plans and provide hands-on coaching.
Entsminger said the mentoring program is progressing, Erin's Law presentations are underway to teach personal-safety and abuse-prevention concepts, and Title I, II and IV grant applications have been submitted and approved. She noted the district is pursuing additional funding through an after-school grant and the School Improvement Grant.
