Jeff Stalker, nursing home administrator, told the committee the Department of Health had been on-site "for several weeks and, upon departure, indicated verbally that there were no findings," and he confirmed that all complaints had been addressed by the facility. Heather Loucks, nursing home comptroller, reported the facility is operating at an approximate year-to-date loss of $1.5 million but said occupancy and daily reimbursement rates have remained stable.
The committee approved several Nursing Home transmittals recorded as Approved 5-0: renewal terms on the UKG Workforce Ready agreement; renewal of an agreement with Ultramobile Imaging Inc. for mobile diagnostic imaging services; a lease agreement with Culligan Quench (leasing chosen so maintenance responsibility remains with the vendor); a transfer of funds and 2026 budget amendment; and exercising the final renewal option for Minimum Dataset consultant services. Committee members asked about leasing versus purchasing; Loucks said leasing shifts maintenance responsibility to the vendor.
