Wayne County to adopt JustFOIA software to modernize public records requests

Mrs. Pisciotti presented Resolution 230-26 requesting authority to contract with JustFOIA Pro Plus under a cooperative contract to modernize the county’s FOIL processing. The Clerk of the Board record attached quoted a 2026 prorated rate of $6,613.93 and multi-year pricing through 2029. The board authorized the County Attorney's Office to enter into the agreement and directed the Budget Office to amend the 2026 County Attorney budget to move $6,613.93 into a software line item.
The resolution states that JustFOIA provides a public portal, workflow automation, in-app correspondence, and automated redaction. The Purchasing Agent reviewed the cooperative contract and recommended it as the best procurement option for the County Attorney’s Office; final execution remains subject to County Attorney review as to form and content.
