Stonington board approves machine-shed permit and a chicken application; decline garage-size change

LeVault also proposed changing the allowed garage/shed size from 30x36 (1,080 sq ft) to 30x50 (1,500 sq ft). Trustees noted that larger structures of that size would require a variance hearing with notification to surrounding residents; after discussion the board agreed not to change the permitted size. Separately, the board approved a chicken application from Bruce Lowe II on a motion by Trustee Kuntzman, seconded by Trustee Wilson; the motion passed 6-0.
