County hires Beacon (BRIMS) for revenue cycle consulting for Mental Health and Nursing Home

Wayne County awarded RFP 006-26 to BRIMS LLC dba Beacon Solutions Group to provide revenue cycle consulting: evaluation fee $34,000 for Mental Health (3-year term) and $24,000 for Nursing Home (Aug. 1, 2026–July 31, 2029).
Mr. Rose presented and the board approved Resolution 224-26 awarding RFP 006-26 to BRIMS LLC dba Beacon Solutions Group for healthcare revenue cycle consulting. Two separate agreements were authorized: one to serve the Mental Health department (three-year term with two optional one-year renewals; evaluation fee $34,000) and one to serve the Wayne County Nursing Home for the period August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2029 (evaluation fee $24,000). The resolution authorizes the Madam Chair to execute the agreements subject to County Attorney approval.
The RFP evaluation included five proposals; Beacon was the recommended award based on cumulative scoring and pricing. County officials noted the contracts will include additional training and consulting at hourly rates per the submitted cost proposals and that execution is contingent on final contract review.
