Teton County approves up to $4.72 million contract for Wilson Active Transportation project

The Teton County Board of Commissioners voted May 26 to approve a contract, Notice of Award, and Change Order #1 with Evans Construction for the Wilson Active Transportation Improvements Project, with a not-to-exceed total of $4,715,324.00. Brian Schilling, Pathways Coordinator for Teton County and the Town of Jackson, presented the proposal and answered questions from the board before the vote.
Public comment on the project was recorded from Tim Young and Lee Barlow. The record shows the project funding breakdown as $1,249,999.00 of federal funding from a TAP grant, $698,441.00 from a BUILD grant, and $2,766,884.00 from local share funds, which the minutes state are included in the proposed FY2027 Fund 37 budget. Commissioners voted to approve the contract; the motion carried unanimously.
