Other commenters, including Anne Dommerich, Larry Moore and Donna Verhoeven, echoed frustrations about repeated warnings that they said were not acted on and asked for more timely, public follow‑up when board members pose questions. Teachers and staff asked whether certain expenditures (for example, promotional apparel) were district‑funded or covered by boosters and urged staff to publish clear guidance about site‑based carry forward funds. One commenter asked that planning meetings be livestreamed with visuals so the community can follow presentations more easily.
The board chair and staff responded that materials and the presentation would be shared publicly and reiterated the district's commitment to develop a corrective action plan and more frequent financial updates.
