Visu-Sewer lining continues; 4th Street lift station cavitation prompts follow-up

On the 4th Street lift station, a new dual-port impeller and refurbished motor were installed the week of May 4th, but the lift station cavitated more than before and the old impeller was reinstalled. "A technician from William Reid believes the pressure is too high," Director of Public Works Ken Bloom reported; Bloom asked for a technician write-up to forward to consulting engineers Vierbicher and Smith & Loveless for further analysis.
