Jerome County awards $10,000 emergency aid to Eden Silver and Gold Senior Center

Tracee McKim, staff, said the payment will come from a discretionary fund within the county’s charity budget and that next year’s budget process will set ongoing funding levels. Bruning did not request a specific amount in the meeting but asked that the county at least match last year’s contribution; the board approved a $10,000 one-time aid to address immediate repairs and meal shortfalls.
