Hillsboro students land ILMEA spots; HHS music gets $20,000 arts grant; student reads NPR essay

Building positive school climate, the Junior High Kindness Club has been greeting students at doors each morning, and Student Council is collecting canned goods for Harvest for Hope with a prize entry to be Principal for a day.
Board members praised staff and community turnout at recent fundraisers and commemorated Veterans Day recognition at the meeting.
