Engineer: North Water Main Loop preconstruction meeting done; work expected after Labor Day

City Engineer Andrew Aakre told the Harwood City Council that a preconstruction meeting for the North Water Main Loop project was held July 27 and that the anticipated start date for construction is after Labor Day; he said staff continue to work on the final items for the project's loan application.
Aakre also presented the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for council comment and adoption on Aug. 3. The engineer noted the CIP schedule remains and invited additional council feedback on priorities; no formal amendment to the CIP was recorded in the minutes.
