Hillsboro CUSD 3 board approves consent agenda, minutes and payables

At its Oct. 14 meeting the Hillsboro CUSD 3 Board unanimously approved the consent agenda including several sets of minutes, payables and the financial report; the motion passed 7–0 following a roll call vote.
The Hillsboro Community Unit School District #3 Board of Education unanimously approved the consent agenda at its Oct. 14 regular meeting, accepting minutes from Sept. 16 (regular, personnel/policy and executive) and the Building & Grounds Committee minutes from Sept. 19, 2025, along with payables and the district financial report.
Nathan Kirby moved to approve the consent agenda and Kassie Greenwood seconded. President Matt Lentz called for a roll call; all seven board members—Lentz, Brian Patton, Bill Christian, Blake Furness, Greenwood, Mike Cerutti and Kirby—voted yes and the motion carried 7-0. The Building & Grounds minutes included a note from Superintendent McBrain that there is not a change order at this time but a request for additional curbing.
