Multiple board members said standard 4 showed the least 'green' and the most red in the packet, representing the district's largest opportunity for growth. One director summarized: "I actually know that standard 4, just in general, had the least green out of all of the standards and the most red." (Speaker 2)
Facilitator Amy Cast recommended clarifying the time frame respondents used when they answered the survey and suggested working through definitions for terms such as "district plan" and "learning environment" to reduce 'I don't know' answers. The board agreed to consider focused learning on standard 4 as part of next steps and to possibly retake the survey after adopting shared definitions.
