Ms. McGann and Assistant Principal Jackie Colgan presented an overview of the BIST program, saying it has helped create consistent processes and language at the elementary level and provided useful tools for early-career teachers at the junior high. The presenters described a 2025–26 contract totaling $20,800 funded through Title funds and said the program includes monthly on-site consulting, parent virtual sessions, Vision Team facilitation and attendance at the annual BIST Leadership Conference.
Board members asked clarifying questions and deferred final action because several board members were absent. "The 2025-26 contract is a reduction from previous years and includes monthly on-site consulting, parent virtual sessions and resources, Vision Team Facilitation, and the Annual BIST Leadership Conference at a total of $20,800," the presenters said. The board tabled the item for further discussion when all members can be present.
