Board approves March bills totaling $202,334.12 after Follett clarification

The Stark County Community Unit School District #100 board on March 17 approved March bills totaling $202,334.12 and accepted consent-calendar finance items including activity funds, self-insurance and treasurer reports for January and February.
During discussion about the March bills, President Ann Orwig asked about a payment to Follett; Superintendent Brett Elliott confirmed the charge was for the district’s new library system and initial training on how to use it. "It is for the new library system, including initial trainings on how to use the new system," Elliott said. The motion to approve the March bills passed 4-0.
Earlier that evening the board also approved a package of LEA checks for January and February as part of the consent calendar.
