Several items were discussed in more depth before action: a large initial beach-cleanup request was tabled then revisited and funded at $325,000 for one-time bathroom and cleanup work; Myrtle Beach State Park funding was rejected on grounds of park profitability; and Beach Services Limited was denied funding because it is a for-profit business. The committee's package is intended for Administrative Committee review on April 29 and County Council readings on May 6 and May 20.
